Malc saw Louise at New Forest Folk Festival earlier this year and was blown away.

Touring with her second, critically acclaimed album Florilegium, Louise plays original works, musical settings of literature as well as her own unique arrangements of traditional material. For her autumn 2013 tour, Louise will also perform brand new, previously unreleased material. Self-accompanied on either piano or guitar Louise’s music combines classical sensibility with award winning acoustic song writing to create timeless and honest pieces delivered with energy and Jamie Hawkinspassion.

Jamie a singer-songwriter has won a top title in the UK Songwriting Contest. (2011)

Jamie Hawkins, of King Arthur’s Road, took the folk/acoustic class title in the competition which attracted thousands of entries from around the UK.

Jamie’s song, Bloody Good Christmas, won over the judges with one, producer, arranger and musical director Richard Niles describing it as: “Powerful, utterly original, articulate, heartfelt, emotional, very well constructed and superb in every way.”

Jamie said: “I am really delighted to have won the title and I hope that it will help me get my name known in songwriting.
