The Penny Red (formerly known as The Carousel) are an acoustic band from Wiltshire

This four piece outfit centres around Jessica’s extraordinary voice and some brilliantly crafted catchy songs.  The band features Jessica Vincent (Vocals, Guitar, Mandolin, Flute, Harmonica, Piano),  Ade Barnes (Bass Guitar, Vocals), Marcel Rose (Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo) and Tim Watts (Drums, Percussion).  They got together in Spring 2011 and have already built up quite a reputation and following.  They played at Seend Acoustic Festival back in September, were recently invited to do a session at Songs From The Shed and have a heap of new appointments rolling in for 2012 and would appear to have a great future such is their individuality.

This evening will see the airing of several new songs and a full hour or more of their repertoire.  You can find them on Facebook , Reverbnation myspace and Twitter.  Their own website is now live but being developed  Here’s a vid of their performance at Seend Acoustic Festival
