RICHARD DIGANCE

Tuesday November 1st 2011 £10 entry

Yes, that Richard Digance, that genius you’ll remember from TV in the 80s!  Well you’ll remember him if you are late 30s plus.

This is Richard’s 2nd time to Seend following his sold out appearance back in April this year.  You’re probably thinking we use the big hall for this but you’d be wrong, its our regular club room where we seat no more than 50 people, or 55 if you’re skinny.  This is the man at his best, forget the huge festival audiences and cruise ships that he normally plays to, this is Richard in your living room, like an old mate, telling you stories and playing his songs.

Call 01380 827041 very quickly if you want a ticket, it is likely to sell out at our acoustic festival!

Check out his website here and search all his classics on youtube  like the one shown below playing to a huge crowd at Cropredy in August this year!  Can’t wait!

KILLING NO MURDER Tuesday October 18th 2011 £3 Entry

Killing No Murder are a 4 piece acoustic band, the result of long term friends Lu Cooper and Cailean Hunt (of Johnny Panic & Lo-Fi-Dol) deciding it was high time they melded their musical talents to create something new and interesting.

Starting life as a duo, Lu providing vocals with Cailean on guitar, they quickly attracted the attention of Chris Hoar (Lodestone), who brought with him a considerable talent for song writing, smooth vocals and beautifully picked guitar to compliment Cailean’s sensitive yet powerful lead.

With a tranche of original songs to showcase, they recruited multi instrumentalist David Moss (LightGarden) on fiddle, thus completing the line up.

Musically diverse, sometimes unpredictably so, they’ve been likened to the lovechild of the Magic Numbers and the Cranberries, taking influences from many genres to weave original melodies, sometimes foot stomping, sometimes mellow, but always telling honest heartfelt stories with their lyrics.
